This is the start of my first ever series! I won't do it all back to back ALL at once, only updating it when I have really NOTHING to post about (such as the past few WEEKS). The concept is simple - to introduce an artist or group starting with the letter A, B, C all the way till Z. This list is can also be known as "Raid's recommended artists X26", or any other swanky name you can think of. xD

All introductions will be kept in a similar format - by answering WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE, HOW and WHY questions on the group, though not necessarily in that order.

Well then, here we go.


[WHO are they?] AAA debuted with 8 members, and are currently at 7 members. They include Ito Chiaki (leftmost girl), main vocal Uno Misako (girl behind Chiaki), Sueyoshi Shuta (guy beside Misako), rapper Hidaka Mitsuhiro (guy beside Shuta), main vocal Urata Naoya (guy in cap), Atae Shinjiro (guy in black jacket) and main vocal Nishijima Takahiro (guy in white).

[WHAT are they best known for?] They are best known for singing the theme to Kamen Rider Den-o in 2007, titled Climax Jump. Otherwise they're best known for their endless rapid releases.

[WHEN did they debut?] 2005 September with the single BLOOD on FIRE.

[WHERE should I start?] Newbies should try out their first single BLOOD on FIRE to get used to the heavy dance pop that AAA are so fond of releasing. Friday Party should be next, to give you a feel of their less heavy music that is still fun to listen to. The best singles to try out to see how diverse AAA can be would be Kuchibiru Kara Romantica/That's Right as well as Get CHU!/SHE no Jijitsu. Both singles are very very impressive, and you should be able to find something you like amongst the 4 tracks.

[HOW many releases of their's do you own?] 35. (CDs, DVDs, and one Photobook) (This question may seem redundant, but it shows you how "buyable" I think their releases are. This should give you a rough gauge as to how highly I think of them.)

[WHY should I give them a try?] Because Urata and Shuta will change your life. Forever. Or Nissy will, if you're a bland, boring and predictable fangirl. xD

[Random trivia] Within the short span of two years, AAA has managed to release more singles than some artists have in a MUCH longer time (an example would be Tackey & Tsubasa, with only 9 singles in 5 years [less than 2 singles per year] as compared to AAA's 16 in 2 [8 singles per year]).They've also managed to have two scandals under their belt, both of which have caused a relatively big ruckus in the scene.
